welcome to talented in middle school, a blog where now-beautiful-and-accomplished-individuals, such as yourself, can send PHOTOS (oooh!) and STORIES (Ahahhaaaa!) and if applicable VidEO FOoTAgE (w-haaat!!) of your days as a middle school puberty-ville degenerate! Started by the creators of Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite, talented in middle school is a tribute to the three years most of us would rather forget. ...That, and the very unfortunate photos and other embarrassing sh*t your friends and relatives have refused to burn in the fire.

and like with all good blogs (hallloJULIEANDJULIAAAAAAAA!), WE HAVE A GOAL.

For those who haven't seen the show, Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite is a two-person comedy about what happens when you let a dozen or so 12-14-year-olds take the stage in efforts to show everyone how much talent they really have...turns out, not a lot. in talking with audiences across the country, from st. louis, missouri to princeton, new jersey, we've learned one thing, and that is that almost EVERYBODY has these three years in their lives when they are just a trainwreck of a human being. And for some reason, across the board these three years of freakdome are the years of middle school.

and that's exactly why we wanted to start a blog.

GOALGOALGOAL: by AUGUST 5, 2011, we want enough people, like YOU, to send in their awkward school pictures and horror stories and should-be-destroyed-videos to create a community big enough to make one very horrifying ONLINE RIDGEFIELD MIDDLE SCHOOL YEAR BOOK. start your pre-teen engines, folks*.
